Web Sales

To be submitted to Soundscan, Web Sales must be submitted to Greg at MRI via greg@megaforcerecords(dot)com.  Web Sales must be received by 10:00 a.m. Monday morning to be included in the following Wednesday's soundscan. 

Soundscan requires a specific formatting for each sale.  Below are instructions for formatting your Web Sales so that they can be combined with other sales in the MRI weekly submission.  Please make sure any UPC numbers or Zip Codes that begin with "0" are formatted properly so they do not disappear in the final output.

Here's how the sales need to be formatted in order to be reported to soundscan:

(prefix)(full UPC #)(Zip Code)(Letter S)

prefix is always M30

So a release (UPC #: 720841110323) sold in 10001 zip code would look like this:

M3072084111032310001S

If another was sold in 10013, then the next line would look like this:

M3072084111032310013S

Then list all the sales in a singular column in Excel. The sales for the next release should be in the same format listed in the same column below the previous files.
